With the safe transport of goods and services high on the list of priorities in today’s climate, Logico have accessed the North East Business Support Fund to help build a brand to match their expertise across the transport industry.
Logico – the brand name of Logico NE Ltd – have accessed grant support from business support agency NBSL via the North East Business Support Fund – which is part financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Newton Aycliffe-based Logico used grant funding to engage Thrive Marketing – also based in Newton Aycliffe to create an all-encompassing sales and marketing strategy to help position the business accordingly.
With the welcome addition of grant support, Logico were able to extend the scope of the project – identifying additional services and new ways of communicating with both existing and prospective clients through the launch of a new website. Following the new brand launch and increased digital dialogue, the business has been able to create two further positions to sustain its growth ambition and satisfy an increased client base with further website improvements planned.
Lisa Fleming, Director of Logico, said “We set out to create a simple sales and marketing strategy for the business but this extra funding has allowed us to look at the business as a whole and identify new services that could contribute towards our growth. Compliance, audits, and transport management are business critical in today’s climate and these services have been at the core of our new digital offer. We have been able to create a marketing strategy to match our specialised service and this has paid dividends in growth.”
NBSL’s Jonathan Barnes, who helped Logico throughout the grant support process, said: “We understand some firms are put off by complex application processes, which is why we work with businesses to ensure it is as simple and as straight-forward as possible. With our virtual contracting process now in place, we can work remotely without diluting the quality of the service we provide to clients.”
Jonathan added “We are now in the last 3 months of current funding with less than £100,000 available to County Durham-based businesses. I urge anyone thinking about accessing support to get in touch and allow us to help as many businesses as possible reach their potential.”
Following their experience as a recipient of funds from the North East Business Support Fund, Logico have now registered as a service provider for NBSL. Lisa added “As service providers to a range of North East-based businesses, we are delighted to be able to offer this potential funding to our own client base. We offer a comprehensive audit and compliance service – all of which fit within the eligibility criteria and would recommend any business consider this fund to help budgets. We found this funding invaluable to stimulate our growth mindset – we hope it can inspire our clients too.”
You could apply for a grant to transform your business too - get up to 40% funding towards a whole range of projects.
